Obsidian Shield is INTEGO’s premium deep-black gloss color PPF engineered for installers who want a bold, ultra-gloss finish with long-term durability. Designed using an 8.0 mil TPU base and advanced hydrophobic coating, this color PPF delivers a rich obsidian-black tone that stays glossy, clean, and vibrant for years.

The film features strong stain resistance, excellent clarity, and a highly reflective gloss surface that enhances body lines and creates a paint-like finish. With pressure-sensitive adhesive and stable elasticity, Obsidian Shield installs smoothly across hoods, roofs, mirrors, fenders, and full-body conversions.

Self-healing technology allows micro-scratches to disappear with heat, while UV-stable adhesive reduces the risk of fading or discoloration over time. Obsidian Shield is ideal for color-change projects, luxury restyling, and protection of OEM or aftermarket painted surfaces.

Warranty Information

Obsidian Shield Black Gloss Color PPF carry a limited warranty of 10 years when professionally installed by an authorized dealer covering:

  • Yellowing

  • Cracking

  • Peeling or lifting

  • Delamination

  • Surface deterioration under normal use

  • Manufacturing defects in material or coating

This warranty applies when the film is:

  • Professionally installed

  • Applied to original factory paint

  • Maintained according to recommended care guidelines

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by accidents, improper installation, misuse, pressure washers, chemicals, or environmental fallout

  • Paint failure unrelated to the film

  • Non-factory or aftermarket resprayed paint

  • Normal wear such as micro-scratches or contamination from neglect

If a warranty claim is approved, FirstPick will provide replacement material (film only) for the affected area. Labor, reinstall costs, or additional compensation are not covered.
