Obsidian Shield – Black Satin is INTEGO’s premium color PPF designed for installers who want a deep, stealth-style black finish with reliable long-term protection. Built with an 8.0 mil TPU base and a specialized satin coating, this film delivers a rich, smooth, non-reflective black color that transforms any vehicle with an elegant, low-gloss appearance.

The satin surface enhances body lines, hides minor imperfections, reduces glare, and creates a refined OEM-grade matte black finish. With strong stain resistance, stable elasticity, and pressure-sensitive adhesive, Obsidian Shield installs cleanly on both large panels and complex curves for full-body color changes or partial restyling projects.

Self-healing properties help micro-marks fade with heat, while a UV-stable adhesive system keeps the satin black finish uniform and prevents discoloration over time. Obsidian Shield is ideal for high-end restyling, luxury conversions, and durable matte black protection.

Warranty Information

Obsidian Shield Black Satin Color PPF carry a limited warranty of 10 years when professionally installed by an authorized dealer covering:

  • Yellowing

  • Cracking

  • Peeling or lifting

  • Delamination

  • Surface deterioration under normal use

  • Manufacturing defects in material or coating

This warranty applies when the film is:

  • Professionally installed

  • Applied to original factory paint

  • Maintained according to recommended care guidelines

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by accidents, improper installation, misuse, pressure washers, chemicals, or environmental fallout

  • Paint failure unrelated to the film

  • Non-factory or aftermarket resprayed paint

  • Normal wear such as micro-scratches or contamination from neglect

If a warranty claim is approved, FirstPick will provide replacement material (film only) for the affected area. Labor, reinstall costs, or additional compensation are not covered.
